This refund policy applies only to the platform fees and services directly controlled by CareerPeCharcha. Individual professionals on our platform may have their own cancellation and refund policies that apply to their services.

1. Session Cancellation and Refunds

Our refund policy for session cancellations is as follows:

More than 24 hours before the scheduled session 100% refund
Between 12-24 hours before the scheduled session 75% refund
Between 4-12 hours before the scheduled session 50% refund
Less than 4 hours before the scheduled session No refund

All cancellations must be made through your account dashboard or by contacting our customer support.

2. Professional No-Shows

If a professional fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, you are eligible for:

  • A 100% refund of the session fee, or
  • Rescheduling of the session at no additional cost

To claim a refund for a professional no-show, you must report the incident within 24 hours of the scheduled session time through your account dashboard or by contacting customer support.

3. Technical Issues

If technical issues on our platform prevent a session from taking place, we will:

  • Offer to reschedule the session at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

For technical issues arising from the professional's or client's end (e.g., poor internet connection), the affected party should notify the other party as soon as possible. In such cases, rescheduling is recommended, but our standard cancellation policy applies if the session cannot be completed.

4. Session Quality

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a session, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances. To request a refund based on session quality:

  1. Submit a detailed explanation of the issue through your account dashboard or to customer support within 72 hours of the session's completion
  2. Our team will review your request and may contact both you and the professional for additional information
  3. A decision will be made within 5 business days

Please note that subjective dissatisfaction (differences in opinions or approach) may not qualify for a refund if the professional delivered the service as described in their profile.

5. Unused Subscription Credits

For subscription-based services with pre-paid credits:

  • Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of the billing cycle and are not refundable
  • Annual subscription credits may be partially refundable on a pro-rated basis if cancelled mid-term, subject to a cancellation fee

To cancel a subscription, navigate to the Subscriptions section in your account dashboard.

6. Refund Process

Once a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Processing times vary based on your payment provider:
    • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
    • Digital Wallets: 3-5 business days
    • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Sessions that have been completed and marked as "completed" by both parties
  • Platform fees for sessions that have been completed
  • Promotional credits or free sessions provided as part of a marketing offer
  • Cancellations that do not comply with the timeframes specified above
7. Special Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and exceptional situations can occur. In cases of documented medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer exceptions to our standard refund policy.

Please contact our support team as soon as possible in such situations, providing any relevant documentation to support your request.

8. Disputes and Resolutions

If you disagree with the outcome of a refund request, you may file an appeal within 7 days of the decision. Appeals should be submitted to our support team with any additional information that may be relevant to your case.
